IT Support Analyst, Austin, TX 23-01-AUS01

INTERA is seeking an experienced IT Support Analyst to join our team. This position will be responsible for providing technical support for our Microsoft-based network of workstations and peripherals, as well as performing administrative tasks as needed. This is a hybrid position that will require both on-site work in our Austin location and occasional travel to INTERA branch offices. The IT Support Analyst will be the primary point of contact for the helpdesk and will need to have a can-do attitude to keep up with the demands of a growing company.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues via phone, email, or in-person communication
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for workstations and servers
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network connectivity
  • Perform regular system maintenance, including security updates and backups
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, hardware, and software
  • Manage IT procurement processes, including purchasing and inventory management of hardware and software
  • Collaborate with the IT team to improve systems and resolve technical problems
  • Provide end-user training and assistance as needed
  • Document technical solutions and update knowledge base as needed


Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support role
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems
  • Experience with desktop and server hardware, software, and networking technologies
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
