INTERA Incorporated is seeking a part-time, variable-hourly, as-needed Senior Geologist based in California. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in geology or related field, Professional Geologist registration in California, California regulatory experience, particularly California Regional Water Quality Control Board, participation in large multi-disciplinary environmental projects, and a minimum of 20 years of experience in environmental consulting.
Candidate’s area of expertise should include mining closure and water stewardship requirements related to ongoing site work, being a part of a team that evaluates that plans are aligned with both corporate and regulatory requirements, and integration and coordination of different agency requirements. Help to develop a corporate management plan to address conditions identified through the hydrogeo drilling program.
