Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide support on flow and transport modeling projects under the direction of INTERA’s senior staff. This will include:
- Compiling, synthesizing, and analyzing data to develop conceptual site and numerical models
- Performing numerical flow and transport modeling of the subsurface
- Creating inputs and postprocessing and evaluating outputs from groundwater models
- Support preparing reports and technical presentations for clients, regulators, and other stakeholders
- Implementing and complying with Department of Energy Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures
Required Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology, Geosystems, or a related field with emphasis on numerical modeling of subsurface processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with computer programming and data analysis
- Solid understanding of hydrogeological principles and practices
Expected salary range: $74,000 — $111,000
