Marketing Intern, 26-27-AUS04

 

INTERA Incorporated is looking for a part-time Marketing Intern to join our talented Corporate Marketing Group at our Austin, Texas office for Summer 2026, with an anticipated duration of June through August 2026. This position offers hands-on experience in a professional consulting environment, providing support for a variety of conference, digital, and administrative marketing initiatives.

 

Responsibilities

Conference and Event Marketing

  • Facilitate logistics for event sponsorships and industry conferences
  • Contribute to maintaining inventory for the company swag store and marketing supplies
  • Assist in the planning and execution of corporate events and internal initiatives

Digital Marketing and Promotion

  • Assist with the creation and scheduling of social media content and digital ads
  • Contribute to the design and production of marketing collateral (e.g., flyers, brochures)
  • Ensure all materials adhere to INTERA brand standards and design guidelines

Administrative Support

  • Support the management of project timelines and document organization
  • Assist in updating and maintaining marketing databases
  • Provide general administrative support to the Corporate Marketing Group

 

Required Qualifications  

  • Currently pursuing or have earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, geoscience, or related fields.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with Canva is a plus
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Expected Compensation Range: $25 per hour
